  1. Had a wonderful time listening to this guy play on Saturday 15th. He was wonderful. He played a tune I didn't recognise, but also "I'm in the mood for love". He made the piano sound like an old-time-music hall instrument. The other people around were lovely too. A great experience.

  2. Brilliant idea! At first I got a bit shocked about how come such a beautiful piano could possibly be left alone in a street. But then I realized how interesting it could be.
Reminded my high school times in Brazil where an old piano forgotten in some dusty store where left reachable to students, once there were reconstruction works going on. One of my classroom mates knew how to play it. It was marvelous to listen to a live piano, specially because i have always wanted to learn how to play it. Watching my friend playing allowed me to learn a very simple piece of a song, no more than 8 notes of it though... Unfortunately, I don't remember the song's name, even though it's a very famous oldie from the 80's. As far as I can tell it is a song from AC DC.

  3. Enjoyed the little tinkle today (Saturday). Thanks to the kind people who gave me money ! It was very much appreciated and I am glad to have brought a little happiness to someone on a rainy day, I'll be back for a repeat but not for the money, simply to bring a little more happiness. I think these pianos are a good idea , i remember seeing the documentary on Tv a couple of years back about the piano left on a street in sheffield which i think is where the idea came from .....is that one still there ?
