Terrific place to place a piano. The sound resonated off of the stone plaza. Please do this again next year.

“Without music, life would be a mistake.”
-Nietzsche

Without my wonderful J, I know that my life would also be a mistake! Here are some photos of him playing one of his favorite instruments. J, I am so in awe of you and everything that you do! Remember, “those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” I’m so happy that we both love & hear the music together. I love you – forever and always.

I’m a Boston singer/songwriter, and met so many great people with the street pianos. I ended up playing 53/75, and performed a different song at each piano, you can watch them all at

We found this wonderful piano in the early hours of the morning and what an amazing surprise it was. Here is a photo of the most incredible man that I know doing something that he absolutely loves. J, I am so proud of you and all of your unbelievable talents. You never cease to amaze me. I love you so much!

My name is Jill Santos and I’m the current Miss Mendocino County from California. My platform is Music and Art Therapy for the Elderly and piano is the main source of therapy I provide for them, which is why finding these pianos was so special to me. I was in Boston for five days for an Alzheimer’s Symposium at Harvard with my mom, and as soon as we learned about the pianos, we printed the map and searched for them all! Unfortunately we couldn’t extend our trip anymore, but I did find 47 of them. It has been a wonderful adventure and experience playing in special places and meeting new people all over Boston.
