Gazebo near Elephant Exhibit. Piano available 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.

You don’t have to buy a ticket for the zoo to play this piano. Just ask at the entrance and they’ll let you in to play it.

    We took a family trip to the zoo today. We knew the piano would be here, but we didn't tell the kids where it was. We had fun letting the kids look for it. Here's a picture of Carolyn and Amy after playing some fun duets: Heart and Soul and Chop Sticks.

    We took a family trip to the zoo today and our daughter, Amy played some of her favorites: Ecossaise and Minuet 2.

    The piano is a bit hidden away under the wooden shelter in the elephant area of the zoo.

    It goes without saying that having the piano behind ticketed gates is not really in keeping with the spirit of this art project. Apologies for this.
    If you're on a mission to play all the pianos in cincinnati you might have to ask nicely at the gate to be let in to play this one, (to avoid having to buy a ticket to get into the zoo).
