Had to play one of my favorite tunes from Stevie Wonder, Overjoyed....i guess i played it a bit too fast. I was just really excited, happy and nervous at the same time!!! Hope the pianos come back to LA again soon!!! <!-- video_comment_id: 325 --> Chanced upon this beautiful piano at the Variety Bldg. on Wilshire Blvd and couldn’t resist the lure of it!!! It called out to me and I happily obliged. I had never played a piano in the middle of the street, and although my audience only consisted of a dear friend and boyfriend at that moment I felt I was playing for the entire world! It was a reminder of my childhood and the sacrifices my mother went through to afford music classes. Because of that I was able to play this Piano at no one’s request but my own from the heart for everyone to hear. It truly is a work of art! Glad someone thought if this. <!-- image_comment_id: 706 --> Walking out of the LACMA museum and making our way to the food trucks it was wonderful to see a piano sitting there, asking to be played. GREAT Piano! <!-- image_comment_id: 676 --> This piano was great, nicely tuned, all of the keys worked and the sustain petal as well, I had a blast, I was playing there in the cold for about 1 1/2 hours.
