So much fun listening to Judith Lundgren and Anita Beaton playing "Oh, Where, Oh Where Has My Doggie Gone", "How Much is that Doggie in the Window" and "Summertime."

This was one of those beautiful unplanned moments. I really hope this guys sees this and tags himself. It really was one of the highlights of our evening. It was awesome for Joseph to have someone sit down and play with him...a first.

This was some random stranger...and really nice guy. He was playing when we walked up, which was the only time that happened tonight. I hope he sees this and tags himself. I want to thank him for really adding to our enjoyment of this evening.

We loved this piano and it's fourth pedal. This is something we as new piano enthusiasts had never seen before, and, we look forward to learning more about it. This was Kenneth's favorite piano and location.

This was the second piano we found. It was my personal favorite for the art on the piano as well as the location. I loved that the back of the piano, and therefore the sound, was aimed at the playground.

This was the first piano we found and the first time a person outside of our family stopped to listen to him play.

Minto Brown Dog Park was our 9th stop of the day, just two more to go. Great fun with my daughter, Shellbe.

Only bad thing about putting it in a dog park!? Watched three dogs lift their leg on it while we were walking up to it! :

Had fun running around taking shots of some of the pianos last night. It was especially fun if someone was playing!

We are so grateful to the Humane Society and all the organizations and volunteers who participated in this amazing project of bringing people together to play, create, share, connect all around town. Debbie and I not only had terrific fun today at every stop but our hearts were enlivened with hope for communities everywhere, locally and globally. Music/art is such a beautiful initiator of unity.
Thank you again!

What a surprise to find this in the park. And to hear my companion play, on a beautiful day, outside, for me (and everyone else), I nearly wept with love and adoration. Thank you for this gift.

Three members of our family - including Jane - are active volunteers at the Humane Society, so of course, the piano at the Minto-Brown Dog Park was one of the first we visited. We also brought our two dogs - both Humane Society rescues - but they were too busy running and sniffing to be in any pictures!

This is the fifth stop on Nick and Tristan's July 17th, 2012 bike tour of the Salem, Oregon-area, Play Me, I'm Yours, street pianos! At each of the 11 pianos both of us played a spontaneous composition (in one take only, mistakes and all!) and recorded a video. We started at 3:00 p.m., biked to each stop, and arrived at the last piano at 11:57 p.m. It was pitch dark at this point, except for the strange blue moonlight. The lack of sight made this improvisation a bit shaky, but that's how it had to be! Glad to be a part of this project and thanks to Luke Jerram for such a phenomenal idea!
