Report this commentMet so many great people with the street pianos. I ended up playing 53/75, and performed a different song at each piano, you can watch them all at

Report this commentOctober 14th, the male puppet has his strings detached. A voice is heard from the dark box inside the piano: "It's our last chance, my Dear. See that little boat that is waiting outside, made to size just for us? My chains are broken, I will set you free and we will sail away when the night falls."

Report this commentMy name is Jill Santos and I'm the current Miss Mendocino County from California. My platform is Music and Art Therapy for the Elderly and piano is the main source of therapy I provide for them, which is why finding these pianos was so special to me. I was in Boston for five days for an Alzheimer's Symposium at Harvard with my mom, and as soon as we learned about the pianos, we printed the map and searched for them all! Unfortunately we couldn't extend our trip anymore, but I did find 47 of them. It has been a wonderful adventure and experience playing in special places and meeting new people all over Boston. :)

Report this commentThe night time long exposure blur amplifies the poignancy of the moment. After playing the piano at the Children's Museum, Tony DeBlois and his mother slowly walk away into the darkness of the night. Janice with a brace on her leg and a cane is leading her blind son toward the next piano on their remarkable journey.
