I was enjoying playing the beautifully decorated piano in the cool autumn breeze during the Oktoberfest and Honk Festival on Sunday, October 13, 2013.

During this Festival, I played the street pianos in front of the Holyoke Center and at the Brattle Plaza in front of the EMS store.

I also went to the Harvard Science Plaza and the Harvard Law School Plaza to play the street pianos there but unfortunately, they were locked. Therefore, I could only take a few photos there.

I wish I could play all the 75 pianos installed in the Boston area.

Thanks to the Play Me, It’s Yours arts project, I was able to share my music to many people in the streets in and near Harvard Square, one of my favorite points of interest in Massachusetts.

I had always dreamed of playing the piano in the streets of Harvard Square and on October 13, 2013, my dream came true!

Sharing my music to people from all over the world has been one of my main life missions. Therefore, I am so happy to make these beautiful street pianos "sing" and share my music with the Cambridge/Harvard Square audience.

I was playing Those Were The Days on the beautifully decorated piano with a very nice sound during the Harvard Square Oktoberfest and Honk Festival. It was such a wonderful experience being able to share my music with the people present at Harvard Square. I am so grateful the audience was very appreciative of my music. Thank you, Luke Jerram, for creating such an interesting and original arts project which brings live piano music to the streets, to the community.

Coming across these pianos has made walks so much more delightful. This man was really one with the piano; he looked around only once. Lovely music.

My name is Jill Santos and I'm the current Miss Mendocino County from California. My platform is Music and Art Therapy for the Elderly and piano is the main source of therapy I provide for them, which is why finding these pianos was so special to me. I was in Boston for five days for an Alzheimer's Symposium at Harvard with my mom, and as soon as we learned about the pianos, we printed the map and searched for them all! Unfortunately we couldn't extend our trip anymore, but I did find 47 of them. It has been a wonderful adventure and experience playing in special places and meeting new people all over Boston. :)
