When I was growing up, my family didn't always have a piano at home. I first learned to play by using pianos at school, church, or in the homes of friends. Now that my wife and I recently moved to Boston (all the way from Utah!), I've once again found myself itching to play but without easy access to a piano! Many thanks to the #streetpianosboston project for providing greater accessibility of pianos to pianists. Here's a video clip that I recorded yesterday improvising on one of my favorite hymns--"Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing."
