Play Me, I'm Yours
Cambridge: 2012
Touring internationally since 2008, ‘Play Me, I’m Yours’ is an artwork by artist Luke Jerram. From 22nd October to the 3rd November 2012, CaMEO at the Faculty of Music, University of Cambridge, brought ‘Play me, I’m Yours’ to the city as part of the University of Cambridge’s Festival of Ideas
Fifteen pianos, designed and decorated by local artists and community groups featured in public parks, streets and green spaces across Cambridge for any member of the public to play and enjoy – you can download a map of the locations (pdf) here After being in place for two weeks, the pianos were donated to local good causes and community groups so that the people who have been enjoying them can continue to do so.
This website has been designed for you to post and share films, photos and stories about the pianos. Whilst documenting each piano’s journey, the website will connect the pianos and their communities across the city. Click on a piano location to post and view films, photos & comments from each site.
