Not many photos for this one yet the location was so nice, and in the middle of half-term in the middle of a playground. But it was very cold! More here.

The children at the playground seemed fascinated by this but did not want to pose for any photos when I was there.

A day off from work meant that I had the chance to do something different and I took photos of all of the pianos.

The Monington and Weston. Serial Number: 68691
Built at "Masterpiece" works Circa 1953.
This is another that arrived in good playing order that had some case parts missing. A new fall was found from a piano that had been dismantled.
Surprisingly, this is probably one of the heaviest pianos of all the street pianos as it has the extra iron bracing at the rear of the piano which is something found on most Monington and Weston uprights and grands. Said to give increased stability and often incorrectly referred to as a "Double framed" piano.
