  1. I visited this one on the 18th, and I found it pretty much as Jeremy reported. You can see in the picture that the upper register of the keyboard is completely frozen. I'm sorry to hear they didn't fix it before he got to it. I was able to play a tune on the lower register, but just barely. It was nice to get into the zoo for free, but this one made me sad.

  3. Thanks to all who visited the piano at the Cincinnati Zoo. Its playing time has now ended. We appreciate everyone's support of Play Me I'm Yours.

  5. Thirty third stop- the Cincinnati Zoo. Soooo unfortunate...the piano was practically destroyed. The entire upper register was unplayable, most of the black keys were broken off, and the lid of the piano was stuck halfway closed. The notes that worked (lower on the piano) were tinny-sounding and very out-of-tune. I almost want to say a vandal went to work on this one, but I don't want to jump to conclusions. I reported the damage to the Zoo customer care people, who said they would relay my message to the "Play Me I'm Yours" powers-that-be. I know there are only a few days left of the event (for this one, at least), but wow!
