Betty Payne and Peggy Schmidt // Sep 10, 2010 at 11:13 am
While Peggy and Betty were playing duets, Ken Jordan noticed from his dentist's upper window across the way. He later came by, started singing along to "My Old Ky Home." Recognizing his fine tenor voice, Peggy and Betty quickly decided to feature it with more songs. He and Betty harmonized on "Beautiful Ohio," and then other standards and show tunes while Peggy adroitly accompanied. What a fun time we all had. This element of seredipitous music making is, we think, the "keynote" of this wonderful art instalation.

This is a great place for the piano. Plus, this area has great shops! Thanks for a great exhibit!

This is an excellent venue for a piano! It is the grassy area in the downtown between the shops. The piano sounds very vibrant! Unfortunately, the water sprinkler got to some of the keys and they don't work. But, it was great to play it and many people were sitting around, taking in an excellent Saturday evening.
