  1. Two Pianos, Two Pianists, Two White Sticks

    Two pianists, both of them visually handicapped, met by chance at the piano in the Jardin Anglais. One pianist is English, the other is Swiss and there is an age difference of several decades. They played some pieces, with a small audience of Japanese visitors to the Flowering Clock.

    Then they walked together across the Pont du Mont Blanc, to find the other piano, all on its own and suspended below the bridge and above the lake.

    Once they got there, the younger pianist played a prelude from The Well-Tempered Clavier, while the older pianist played Serge Gainsbourg songs, Elisa and La Javanaise.
