Walking out of the LACMA museum and making our way to the food trucks it was wonderful to see a piano sitting there, asking to be played. It called out to me and I happily obliged. I had never played a piano in the middle of the street, and although my audience only consisted of a dear friend and boyfriend at that moment I felt I was playing for the entire world! It was a reminder of my childhood and the sacrifices my mother went through to afford music classes. Because of that I was able to play this Piano at no one’s request but my own from the heart for everyone to hear. It truly is a work of art! Glad someone thought if this.

Chanced upon this beautiful piano at the Variety Bldg. on Wilshire Blvd and couldn't resist the lure of it!!! Had to play one of my favorite tunes from Stevie Wonder, Overjoyed....i guess i played it a bit too fast. I was just really excited, happy and nervous at the same time!!! Hope the pianos come back to LA again soon!!!
