Day 3, Piano #6:
This was my favourite from last year. Liverpool Street is such a hub of activity, and the piano really works to attract attention and bring people in.
It was no different this year - when I arrived there was already a steady crowd making and enjoying music. I walked past on Wednesday afternoon to a similar sight. Here's a photo of some people who were strangers to each other not long before they sat down by this piano.

After being stuck on a delayed train it was great to come across the piano. It cheered me up no end.

Don't shoot the pianist ... Unless he stops playing in the style of Fats Domino and starts playing Celine Dion to impress the blonde stood behind him ...

This little film I put together last week -2010 pianos being out has spurred me into putting together so many videos which have lain in my file all year - (last year didn' know how to upload!) It isn't Liverpool St. Station, but as far as I can tell, Soho Square and Carnaby Street are not included this year. (They are not on the list anyway) So it serves as a little record of those pianos.
