Briliant idea! I appreciate this project. I enjoyed the play when accidentaly found one of the piano near St. Paul's Cathedral... Thank you!

What a great time me and Asuko (picture) have had over the past week or so playing the pianos at Leadenhall, Royal Exchange and today Bow Churchyard (great piano!). First we do a few round of chopsticks to warm up and then Asuko takes central stage to play some pieces she learnt when she was younger and I just sit in the sun and enjoy. She complains that she's not as good as she used to be but I think she's brilliant. The street pianos have really made us smile and Asuko is thinking of buying a piano now so that she can play again. Brilliant - I hope they come back next year - we miss them already!

It was such a pleasure to play Chopin and some of my own compositions on a beautiful sunny London day.

Day 5, Piano #10
At St Paul's I met *this* eccentric gentleman. Who I subsequently ran into a LOT. When I commented on something not functioning (probably the pedal) he mentioned that he could fix it and had his kit with him.
Does anyone know who he is? I asked him if he was the guy who was running around fixing and tuning the pianos and he replied in affirmative, but I never actually saw him servicing any of them...
