  1. Thanks again to Luke Jerram for the fabulous idea of the streetpianos. Just a specific point...I played 3 hours on Fenchurch St. piano last week (got amazing interaction with toatla strangers and amazing compliments again...eagerly went again on Saturday...piano had been left out in rain and was rendered unplayable....went to St. Pauls gardens...left in rain every note stuck.....went to paternoster Square....been left in rain notes sticking....went to Millenium bridge...been left in rain notes sticking...most pianos had something wrong with pedal...disappointing (waited all year for this...but still inspite of condition of pianos still had a lovely time filming and interacting with people...all creed, colour, age, rich or poor, beautiful or ugly all wiped away by the piano magic...wish thery were there all year!!!!!!!!!
  2. Themba! It's not a bear, it's a Koala!!! :)

[And koalas are not bears - they're marsupial.]

  5. My Dad! Or Baba, as I know him as, is a world class Piano restorer, and he helped me a lot with the project (no I did not get him to paint it all) with choosing the right materials.
He has come from a hard background of poverty and apartheid, to a nice simple family life in England restoring pianos. He has worked for the likes of Elton John, Dido and the Royal family.
Pianos is his living, but more importantly, Pianos saved his life.
My Baba, I love you :) thank you
