Tal Dvir, great theme and painting - a lot of work went into it! We did love the real baseball effect. So glad to see others posting here with info on the pianos. Now that you mention what the music notes represent, the chorus goes great with the baseball theme! Not having the piano right in front of us it's hard to tell, but we're thinking perhaps some of the notes needed to be dotted quarters for the correct rhythm. But the whole piano was a real "hit" :)

By the way, no one noticed that the key notes illustrated at the front of the piano are actually playable... it's part of the course for "We Are The Champions" by Queen.. I was hoping that someone will figure it out. But now they can give it a try and let me know if I did it right :)

My sketch for the piano's top view. On the actual piano, we used a real baseball cut to half and glued on to create 3-D effect of ball crashing in top of the piano. The theme for this piano was "baseball"

Report this commentWorking on my goal to play all of the street pianos set up for the Street Piano project in Mesa. My goal is to play every one and use a different song on each one. This #22 for me. The song is The Beatles "Obladi Oblada."
Note - I do these pretty much off the cuff with no editing, so some are rougher than others. I'm thinking of sponsoring a contest for the number of flubs in this one...
