I said hello to friend #2 on Wednesday night after work about 6.30 after poking my head at Stone and Conties Street, someone was playing and I was not going to interrupt the player. John and South Street was locked groan, walking the bike path between Tweed and City Hall, I waited my turn after a person took in some jazz.
I opened a set with "Scarborough Faire" I do like Simon & Garfunkel's version, the piano was a half key down at the time I played it but it led to a version colorful version near the end of set of Jingle Bells transposed into A flat which did get a compliment and someone did play happy birthday. I handed the piano over soon after that and the next player opened up into a Chopin Waltz, it did get some creative movement out of me. :) Ah, happiness.

I LOVE this installation. It's so wonderful to hear people playing and see people gathering around to watch, listen, and sing.
Thank you!!!!

I was walking through City Hall Park on Sunday afternoon and saw the piano!!! I loved it!!! I just wish it had already been unveiled already. :) I hope I can make it back to the city during this exhibit! What a pretty piano and the idea of it makes me happy. :)
