After hearing a lot of great Dead tunes at the Furthur show, a short solo Lazy River Road was heard on the Boardwalk.

It seems most people I've seen look at the pianos with a bit of fear. They may plunk on a few keys and move on. I suspect it seems mysterious to most who have never had a piano nor the opportunity to even touch one. It's a beautiful idea and I decided to run with it. I have no musical training at all but enjoy doing my bit of improvisation only based upon what I see and feel at the time. I'm an artist and photographer so I look for patterns and thus that was all was going for here. A one handed performance this was with the camera in the other hand. Hey, it was fun for me and in the end that's all that matters. Whether anyone else likes it that's only topping on the cake.
