We are so sorry that the piano was locked. It should be open now.
Sorry.

I took my Family Literacy Class/Program to Fordham Plaza yesterday (6/23) to view and play the piano. Upon our arrival we found the piano covered in plastic and locked. We were unable to play the piano, which defeats the purpoes of the entire project and or our field trip. No one knew how to open it or when it would be open.
Great idea, but poor execution and I can't help but think this isn't the case in other parts of the city like Manhattan.
That being said I saw one of the pianos this morning in St. Marks and it was open and anyone could play it. I only wish my class was able to have the same experience.

On the first evening of the show around 7:30 the piano sat alone, apparently unnoticed. I sat and touched the keys although I don't know how to play.
Sorry.
