  2. Friend #22 under the Gantry, 5.50 pm 7/1 which I suspect was a ferry terminal in another life, had a piano with the upper end more useful, and therefore more useful to play lullabies for not quite sleeping children, or more energetic stuff for older children, now I am going to have to raid my bag of childhood memories if this keeps up. For the children help turn Don Music (Sesame Street ) level frustration into a chance to relax and just play.

Now that I know where the other piano is in the park, I will get to it. Just later. Not 7/1.
  3. What a treat to visit the park, see the Manhattan Skyline, listen to music and get an up close view of the Pepsi Cola sign!

  4. Pianist Dan Nimmer -enjoying the view.
  5. This was the 5th piano we visited. We came around 6 p.m. on Sunday, 6/27. It's very hard to find a parking space on the streets nearby. In the picture Emily was playing this piano a second time before we left the park when it was almost 8 p.m. This time she moved to the right side of the piano because some lower note keys were not sounding.
