When we arrived at this piano, it was locked! I emailed the people at Sing For Hope and they quickly responded with the combination! Amazing! Thanks again!

The keeper of this piano, I ended up waiting for to get done with their set, and the rapport built over a good, long stay on the piano was surprising. Talk, comedy, even other things unrelated to piano.

My set included some Grieg, suggested by one of the listeners, I am still pining over Peer Gynt, and some 1960s style material.

This has been a fun experience, and the one thing I ask is, can we do this again soon, next time with the technicians out in force first thing every morning so that when the pianos "offically open" they are sort of ready, in tune, and any stuck keys or munched hammers have been dealt with?

Someone who plays, and has no clue how to fix/tune/refurbish a piano. :)
  5. Piano performance of original songs by the pianist composer Olga Eljuri de Villar. Her musical style includes tangos, pasillos and waltzes.
