Afternoon of July 1st - this young lady was part of a group of piano students from South Jersey who came up to play. The others were shy but after some prodding by me of the "this is LINCOLN CENTER!" variety she played a beautiful contemporary classical piece.

Cincinnati Public Radio is looking forward to hosting Play Me I'm Yours in August. So, it was a special treat to experience the piano at Lincoln Center - especially with my son Matt at the keyboard - after taking in his concert at Avery Fisher Hall. We can't wait to have the pianos on the streets of Cincinnati!

Friend #15, not much time here, waited long at 62nd and Columbus having a moment of Oy! as a not more than thirteen year old was in the middle of the Rondo Alla Turca I had just finished playing not fifteen minutes before at Merchant's Gate (Columbus Circle for the unfamiliar).
The next chance I get I am going to find my copy of Pictures (Mussorgsky) at the Exhibition and refine how the Old Castle in G sharp minor works. I love the piece but can only get the theme up before my memory fades on me. Anyway someone else wanted to play badly so I moved on after this.
