Thank you very MUCH!
We enjoyed "our" piano day AND night! - There always seemed to be someone on it when I was coming or going... always a nice group of smiley people gathered around listening or joining in on sing-a-ling-a-longs :-)
I quite liked the fact that the last few days our "piano-buddy" got soft on the rules... its was nice to fall asleep to the tinkling of keys. Oh sure the 4:00am Blues Jam last Sunday night was kinda crazy (funny actually) but NY's finest did their job after a couple of songs... most nights the music was appropriate and quite pleasant to nod off to.
AGAIN, thanks to the organizers of this event. If you do it again, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave another piano in Little Red Square!

While this initiative certainly has its merits, a little more thought should have gone into the impact that the constant playing of a piano on a street corner would have on the local residents.
The "piano buddy" for this location was clearly not doing his/her job. There were several nights where the piano was played well past 11 PM and sometimes even after midnight. This morning I woke up to someone playing the piano at 5:45 AM.
According to the website, this initiative was supposed to end yesterday, so hopefully the piano will be gone when I get home from work today, but if it is still there, then could someone please remind the "piano buddy" for this location that they have a job to do? Thank you.
