it was a very hot and humid day in brooklyn when i decided to record this song. reminded me of playing in music festivals. i heard 3 other pianists before i sat down. interesting to see the reaction of a the few people who stopped and listened. an amazing experience!

Spent a good hour playing a some freeform improv in the park. Really nice to be able to play outside with the sounds of summer all around you. I noticed quite a few people stop and listen for a bit before moving on. This guy asked if he could play after I finished and I snapped this photo which feels like it really captures the vibe of the day.
