  4. With our backs to lower Manhattan and the George Washington Bridge in front of us, two non-piano players attempt to play "Heart and Soul". We're better friends than musicians!
The 70th Street pier is a neighborhood park and at the piano we met an actor from the Bway show "Chicago" who happened to be jogging past and couldn't resist the call of the piano. His music greeted us as we walked down the pier. While he played, a woman, originally from Lorraine, Ohio, but an UWS resident for over 20 years, sang. She told us she loves the arts and could never leave Manhattan. Then she took our picture. Strangers sharing their stories, this is New York City. A beautiful day in our windy neighborhood.
