This is the first piano a played in what may be a long journey of playing many of the pianos in this project. I am the worship leader at Unity of Long Island and sing this song most every Sunday...this ties in with Rufus King and his spiritual interests.

I went to highschool near this park so i had to visit it and see how the area was , it was painted beautifully and the sound was nice (only one octave out of tune due to the heat lol) , i played for alot of kids playing songs they knew , then a few older folks played oldies for them , then a group of highschool kids :) it was a good day an a good couple hours well spent :) i love how this piano brings people who have never seen or heard a piano or had the opportunity to hear one , and listen to music played by a complete stranger

Though I went a bit early, and the piano was not yet ready to play, I will be in the area once again to play this piano.
