Open all the time. This piano is decorated by AC Gilbert’s Discovery Village.
Spent a few days going to all 11 pianos and playing John Lennon's 'Love' ... and, no I'm not really a piano player but figure out how to make my way through this song!

The Union Street Bridge is a wonderful, busy place along which to stroll on a sunny morning. What a great addition to our city!
Playing the piano suspended above the Willamette River was thrilling!

Report this commentThis is the eleventh and final stop on Nick and Tristan's July 17th, 2012 bike tour of the Salem, Oregon-area, Play Me, I'm Yours, street pianos! At each of the 11 pianos both of us played a spontaneous composition (in one take only, mistakes and all!) and recorded a video. We started at 3:00 p.m., biked to each stop, and arrived at the this piano at 11:57 p.m. Glad to be a part of this project and thanks to Luke Jerram for such a phenomenal idea!
