Play Me, I’m Yours: San Jose 2010
Touring internationally since 2008, “Play Me, I’m Yours” is an artwork by artist Luke Jerram.
From August 28 – September 22, 19 street pianos will appear on the streets of San Jose as part of the 2010 01SJ Biennial. Located in public parks, streets and squares, the pianos are for any member of the public to play and enjoy. Bring your friends, or make some new ones – this project is about enlivening the urban space and the community in places you would least expect it.
This website was made for the public to post their comments, films and photos about the pianos. Whilst documenting each piano’s journey the website will connect the pianos and their communities across the city. After the project has finished, the pianos will be donated to local schools and community groups.
