  1. I went with my friends yesterday afternoon to play but that guitarist was there with the load speaker. So we gave up. May be I'll try again on a weeknight.
  2. Gabrielle played on the piano in Parramatta on the Lennox Bridge near the Riverside Theatre. It was about 7pm on Sunday night and people stopped and talked to us and others listened while they waited for the bus. It was a weird sound when the piano music clashed with the duff music coming from the hot cars doing parade laps on the street. We got plenty of "keep going, that's great" comments. I got out my saxophone and jammed along for some songs. Another young girl, Emily a red-haired teenager, came along and also played the piano for a while. It was fun. This was just a grab done on my old mobile - sorry about the poor quality video.
  3. inbetween rehearsals and performing at the Opening Ceremony of the Youth Olympics (Wed 14th Jan 09) I had time to run across the road and play a little number..............

  4. I saw the news report on the pianos during the festival and thought it was a great idea but living down the south coast I didnt think much more about it......that is until I went to see the Youth Olympics opening Ceremony At the Entertainment Centre and came across the lonely piano just asking to be played.........

  5. What a fantastic idea! One minute everyone was busily politely ignoring everyone else in that way that people do on busy city streets. Once the player (Robert Enever) started playing, people stopped to watch listen clap and smile. It changed the mood of the street, and put a few bright minutes into everyones day.

    Thank you!! :-)
