Went to go running on the Ladybird Lake hike and bike trail and had to stop at Lou Neff Point. Such a beautiful day, the scenery was wonderful; my playing - not so wonderful, LOL. Thank you to the officer who recorded this for me!!
laurie lee lambert & woode wood have been friends for years, but never played a note of music together. on thursday march 31, 2011 the "play me i'm yours" piano project placed this piano at woode's point, providing the setting for this encounter. woode encouraged laurie to play a piece of one of her compositions, offering to videotape it for the project website. in turn laurie agreed to jam on a little piece of nonsense they conjured up. basically, woode grabbed an e, went to an a and they were off and running. a total mess, but spontaneous fun. for more laurie lee lambert there is another video here recorded at the same encounter. for more woode wood, a little more fleshed out, go to woodewood.com.....
