Sunday September 5th, 2010 - Next Week - The piano is Tune and Ready for your Family Labor Day Picnic on the Portico. OCAC invited you to take advantage of the Public Environment of our Portico and enjoy your Own Sunday afternoon performance series.
As with all our facilty, we ask that you respect the surroundings and leave it as clean or better than you find it. Our love for this building is reflected in our patrons and public use is our goal. We will be back the following Sunday - September 12th for another Great Free Show!

Laurie Traveline Neyer plays an outstanding collection of cover and original music in the Sunday Front Porch Performance Series.
Special thanks to all those who amking the "rounds" to play our piano. Caroline Croswell, Executive Director along with resident artist Kris Courtney and Chrissy Collopy & Stephanie Zing were honored to present the graphic presentation this piano offers. Obviously, folks like Jeremy & Sharon appreciated the attention to detail, Thankyou...

Thirty fifth location...the Oxford Community Arts Center. One of the more fantastically decorated pianos, I'm assuming celebrating Luke Jerram's British Heritage and the event's American locale here in the Greater Cincinnati area.
In regards to the video below, my friend David Thomas Roberts wrote the piece, entitled "Roberto Clemente." It's a gorgeously-written composition with ragtime influences. Sorry, it's not perfect; my camera's video function had a "hiccup" towards the middle, I had to end the piece where I did because the noisy car traffic in the background got REALLY out of hand (the last section is cut from this video), etc. (excuses, excuses!). But hopefully you get the idea.
