  1. On 22nd January Steve came around to Glebe (just outside the Library) to see how badly damaged the piano was.

  2. My son (3.5yrs) tinkered away for ages on the Glebe piano today. What a great idea. Thank you!
  3. The pourer(s) of the white paint shouldn't be prosecuted! Art is a -very- subjective thing, and just because the pouring of white paint isn't some peoples' definition of art does not mean that it is not others'. Has no one noticed how the white paint was used to -outline- some of the musical notes, to outline hearts, and clouds, and other such shapes?

Even though the piano was placed outside Glebe library this should not dictate who exercises the greatest control over its physical state (which was looking -very- plain and uninteresting prior to the pouring of the paint- which certainly jazzed it up and did not affect its playability).

To those who are worried that it will stay half-white forever- just give the artists of Glebe some time. Soon enough it shall be redecorated, I'm sure.
  4. Its ok . Steve, the piano tuner is here and we found the other black key !
  5. Anyone got any spare tops for the black keys ? Three have been ripped of but we can only find two of them .
Also still looking for any volunteers to come and redecorate . Any artists out there?
