mum took me in search for a piano today after we had trouble finding the one in redfern. I loved it...I might go looking for the redfern one this aftrenoon as I hear that it has arrived!

Thank you for being so considerate!
I didn't want to seem like a moaner. Actually, this afternoon has provided us with some interesting tunes and I might take my daughter over later.

Hi Chris and Jenni,
thank you so much for your feedback and support! We'll be down in the morning to secure a lo9ck on the piano lid- which will mean it is only playable during the day. The team at Pine Street Creative Arts Centre will have the key. All the best

In response to Mr Hopkins above,
Have you considered locking the piano in the evenings and then unlocking it in the morning? I understand the project is meant to reflect the community - so perhaps locking it during the evenings would be just as valid an expression of the residents of your area as other communities painting theirs.
Here's to a good night's sleep,
Jenni

Hi,
As a singer and musician myself, I think your idea of placing pianos around Sydney is commendable. However, your choice of location is possibly not so good. We live opposite Peace Park, Chippendale, which is a residential area. This area is also a thoroughfare for drunk people walking through from Broadway to Redfern. Drunk people and pianos are a very bad combination when it is 2am and residents are trying to sleep. I was wondering what was going on last night and then read the smh story. I put two-and-two together. It would be great if the piano could either be locked at night or moved to a less residential location please.
Best of luck with your project.
Regards,
Chris Hopkins (Buckland Street)
