its a lovely idea until the drunkards get a hold of it and decide to bash out nothings at 4am Monday morning for half an hour and with the amazing accoustics in that part of the street, no sleeping resident is safe. any clues to lock them down over night would have been a nice pre-thought!
an aside, as much as I'm complaining about my lack of sleep since the pianos have arrived, the daytime tunes are really lovely.

We had a work lunch at The Duck and Swan. While walking back to work, I remembered that there was a piano in the park, just near us. So we detoured, to find a guy walking his dog and picking out a few notes.
I sat down and remembered a boogie woogie left hand baseline, and showed a friend the right hand part. We played for a bit, amusing the man and his dog, enjoying the lovely sunshine, and certainly not wanting to return to work. At All.
Thanks for making a happy sunny afternoon, even better.

Was delighted to see a whole band at it yesterday as I walked past after work. Granted they weren't actually using the piano but it was definitely an inspiration...
