Play Me, I'm Yours

Touring internationally since 2008, Play Me, I’m Yours is an artwork by British artist Luke Jerram.  More than 1500 pianos have now been installed in over 50 cities across the globe, from London to Lima, bearing the simple invitation Play Me, I’m Yours. The project has already reached more than ten million people worldwide.

Aberdeen Inspired presented Play Me, I’m Yours in the city from Tuesday 2 August to Sunday 21 August 2016. 12 street pianos – 11 decorated by students at North East Scotland College and the 12th sporting a design by acclaimed local artist Mary Butterworth – were located in parks, squares and other public spaces across the city centre for anyone to play and enjoy.  The project has now finished, but there are still two pianos available to play: one at Aberdeen Airport and another on the upper level at Bon Accord Shopping Centre, which is playable between 9am – 5pm daily. The hashtag for the project is #aberdeenpianos.

This website has been set up for you to post and share your films, photos and stories about the pianos.
