I popped out during my work lunch break to play on this lovely piano at the Chinatown Plaza. It was a delight to play on.

Report this commentThe Australian Choral Federation is a choir originating from members of the Chinese community in Melbourne.
“The phoenix and peonies on the front together represent wealth and prosperity. Below, the koi fish encircle a dragon gate, as travelling through the gate with a pearl allows one to become a dragon, which leads to the mural on the back. The staves written under the piano lid are an excerpt from 茉莉花, or Jasmine, a popular 18th Century folk song. The singing birds on the take inspiration from traditional Chinese paintings.”
